France-Soir (South Yarra)

France-Soir is a bustling, long-running French bistro in South Yarra, Melbourne, open since 1986 and styled with the panache of a classic Parisian brasserie, complete with theatrical French-speaking waiters. Its cellar is regarded as one of the finest French wine lists in Australia, running to around 1,500 references and 4,500 bottles with more than 30 wines by the glass, and Champagne is a central part of it, offered both by the bottle and by the glass.
