Den Røde Cottage

Fine dining restaurant in a red wooden cottage on Strandvejen in Klampenborg, north of Copenhagen. The wine list dated October 2026 has about 89 Champagnes, from Pol Roger, Moët, Veuve Clicquot and Bollinger to Salon, Krug and Dom Pérignon, with growers such as Pierre Peters, Jacquesson, De Sousa, Marguet, Nicolas Maillart and Philippe Lancelot. Champagne is sold by the bottle only. The restaurant currently opens for lunch Tuesday to Sunday, with evenings only for events. Price level in 2026: bottles from around €135 ($150), no full bottle under €100 (a Pol Roger half bottle costs less).
