Café Lavinal

Mid-range café brasserie on the square of the village of Bages in Pauillac, run by the Cazes family of Château Lynch-Bages. About 16 Champagnes, from Marcel Vautrain and Gosset to Billecart-Salmon, Bollinger, Roederer Collection, Dom Pérignon, Krug and Salon; Vautrain Premier Cru and Gosset Grand Rosé are poured by the glass. Open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner; usually closed for winter from late December to early February. Price level in 2026: a glass from around €17 ($20), bottles from around €85 ($95), a few under €100.
