The Heathcock is a Top 50 Gastropub in the village of Llandaff, with an upstairs Champagne and Oyster Bar above the ground-floor pub and dining room. It pours Pommery Champagne, Brut and Rose, by the glass, including a deal of oysters with a glass of Champagne. The upstairs bar runs Thursday to Saturday evenings, roughly 18:00 to 23:30; the pub keeps wider hours. Booking is recommended for the bar and for weekend dinner.
