A Greenwich Village tavern from 1937 on MacDougal Street at Minetta Lane, now a Parisian-style steakhouse famous for its Black Label burger. Taittinger Cuvée Prestige Brut is poured by the glass at $33, and a Grand Cru rosé Champagne at $34. The wine list dated late September 2026 has about 13 Champagne bottles from $140, including Charles Heidsieck Réserve at $155, Pol Roger at $170, Delamotte Blanc de Blancs at $185, Bollinger at $205, grower Franck Pascal, Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle and Dom Pérignon. Dinner is served daily from 5 pm with supper until midnight, lunch runs Wednesday to Friday and brunch at weekends. Tables are hard to get, so book ahead.
