Where to drink Champagne in Malmö?
Malmö has a compact but lively restaurant and wine scene, with plenty of places where Champagne can easily become part of an evening. The city centre is a good starting point, while neighbourhoods such as Möllevången, Davidshall and Västra Hamnen offer a different mix of restaurants, bars and cafés.
Malmö’s proximity to Denmark also gives the city a particularly international feel. You’ll find plenty of Scandinavian and European influences in the food scene, with seafood, oysters, smoked fish and seasonal ingredients making easy pairings when you’re wondering what to eat with Champagne.
Sweden’s growing wine industry is also worth keeping an eye on. If you spot Swedish sparkling wine on a menu, give it a try – it’s a fun way to discover what can be produced in a much cooler climate.
Good to know
Malmö is small enough to explore on foot, so it’s easy to combine a few wine stops with dinner and a casual Champagne celebration. And if you have more time, Copenhagen is just across the Øresund, making the two cities an easy combination for a food and wine trip.
Check the Champagne Hunters map before you go, and if you find a place that’s already listed, comment and share your experience. If you discover somewhere missing, add your find to the map yourself – especially if you find a good Champagne-by-the-glass option.
