Where to drink Champagne in Málaga?
Málaga has a relaxed but increasingly interesting food, wine and cocktail scene, and Champagne fits right in. The historic centre is the easiest place to start, with plenty of restaurants, wine bars and stylish spots where you can turn an ordinary evening into a little Champagne celebration.
If you’re looking for a Champagne bar or a restaurant with Champagne on the list, explore around the old town and the harbour, but don’t overlook the neighbourhoods just outside the tourist centre. Málaga’s international food scene also gives you plenty of options when deciding what to eat with Champagne – seafood, oysters, jamón and tapas are all easy choices.
And while you’re here, make some room for Málaga’s own wine culture. The province is known particularly for its sweet Málaga wines, but you’ll also find dry wines and local producers worth discovering.
Good to know
Málaga works particularly well if you want to combine Champagne, sunshine and the sea. Spend the day exploring the old town, head towards the waterfront for a drink and make the evening about food, wine and a few glasses of bubbles.
Check the Champagne Hunters map before you go, and if you find a place that’s already listed, comment and share your experience. If you discover somewhere missing, add your find to the map yourself – especially if you find a good Champagne-by-the-glass option.
