Champagne bars and restaurants in Miami
Miami has a Champagne scene that matches the city itself – glamorous, energetic and heavily influenced by its coastal and Latin American culture. The city has no shortage of upscale restaurants, luxury hotels, rooftop bars and waterfront venues where Champagne fits naturally into a long dinner, a night out or a Champagne celebration.
Brickell is one of the best areas for polished restaurants, rooftop venues and luxury hotels, while Wynwood brings a more creative atmosphere with colourful street art, independent restaurants and cocktail bars. Downtown Miami offers a mix of restaurants, nightlife and waterfront views, and Coconut Grove has a more relaxed, leafy character with plenty of places to eat and drink.
Miami’s food scene is particularly interesting for what to eat with Champagne. Fresh seafood, oysters, ceviche and stone crab are obvious choices, while Cuban, Caribbean and Latin American flavours offer plenty of less traditional pairings.
Miami grew from a small settlement into a major international city during the 20th century, shaped heavily by immigration from Cuba and across Latin America. That influence is still central to the city’s identity, particularly in Little Havana, where Calle Ocho is one of the best places to experience Miami’s Cuban culture.
Good to know
Miami is much more than its beaches. Explore Brickell for upscale dining and nightlife, Wynwood for art and restaurants, Little Havana for Cuban culture, and Coconut Grove for a slower atmosphere. Downtown and the waterfront are also worth exploring, especially around sunset.
