jjacques is a hidden speakeasy, oyster bar and cocktail bar in Quebec City’s Saint-Roch district, with an unmarked metal door on the Notre-Dame-des-Anges alley (ring the bell). Themed on the golden age of travel, it holds a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and a list of more than 175 wines running deep into Champagne and Burgundy, with grower Champagne available by the glass as well as the bottle; the signature French 75 is built on Krug Grande Cuvée.
