Where to drink Champagne in Oslo?
Oslo has a surprisingly strong wine and restaurant scene, and it’s one of the best places in Norway to look for Champagne. You’ll find everything from wine bars and relaxed restaurants to fine-dining spots and stylish hotel bars, with a good selection of Champagne often sitting alongside an impressive range of wines.
The city centre is an easy starting point, but it’s worth exploring neighbourhoods such as Grünerløkka, Frogner and Aker Brygge too. Oslo’s food scene is heavily influenced by the sea and the seasons, so Champagne with oysters, shellfish, salmon or fresh Nordic seafood feels particularly at home here.
Good to know
Oslo is a great city for combining Champagne with Nordic food, design and waterfront life. You can spend the day exploring museums and neighbourhoods, stop for a glass somewhere along the way and finish with dinner overlooking the harbour.
Check the Champagne Hunters map before you go, and if you visit somewhere already listed, comment and tell us what you found. If you discover a place that’s missing, add it to the map yourself – especially if you find a good Champagne-by-the-glass option.
