Champagne bars and restaurants in Orlando
Orlando is best known for its theme parks, but there’s a much more sophisticated food and drink scene beyond the attractions. The city has a growing selection of upscale restaurants, luxury hotels, rooftop bars and lounges where you can enjoy Champagne alongside dinner or drinks.
Winter Park is one of the best areas to explore for restaurants, wine bars, boutiques and a more polished local atmosphere. Downtown Orlando has a lively restaurant and nightlife scene, while Restaurant Row in Dr. Phillips is known for its concentration of dining options. Around the theme parks, luxury resorts also offer plenty of opportunities for Champagne.
Orlando’s international food scene gives you plenty to explore when it comes to what to eat with Champagne. Seafood, oysters and lighter dishes are natural pairings, while the city’s wide range of international restaurants makes it easy to try something less traditional.
Orlando’s modern identity grew largely from tourism. Walt Disney World opened nearby in 1971, followed by Universal Orlando and other major attractions, transforming the region into one of the world’s most important tourist destinations. But the city itself has grown well beyond the theme parks.
Good to know
Don’t assume Orlando is only about the theme parks. Winter Park is particularly worth exploring if you want independent restaurants, cafés and a more local feel, while Restaurant Row is a good choice for a concentrated selection of restaurants. If you’re staying around the parks, the luxury resorts are also worth considering for an evening away from the crowds.
