19 Raw Oyster Bar

Founded by Chef Joe Monteiro in 2017, 19 Raw Oyster Bar began as a small oyster bar just off Main Street in downtown Edgartown. In 2020, the concept expanded to include a steakhouse, bringing fresh seafood and prime steaks together under one roof. Today, the seasonal restaurant serves freshly shucked oysters, crudos, ceviches, dry-aged steaks and shareable sides, alongside handcrafted cocktails, an extensive wine selection and locally brewed beer. With indoor and outdoor seating and a welcoming atmosphere, it is a popular spot for both casual visits and special occasions.
