Terms and Conditons

The owner of the online store champagnehunters.com (hereinafter referred to as the Online Store) is ReCode Invest OÜ (registry code 17141064), located in Harju County, Tallinn, Pärnu mnt 129c/2-65, 11314.

Validity of the Sales Agreement, Product and Price Information

The terms and conditions apply to the purchase of goods from the Online Store.

The information and prices of the products sold in the Online Store are indicated next to the products. All prices or the products sold in the online store are in EUR (€).

The cost of delivery depends on the location of the buyer and the method of delivery. Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on location and package size/weight. When ordering goods containing alcohol, the customer must be prepared to prove their age with a document upon receipt of the goods.

Placing an order

Orders can be placed by logging in or not. Order history is only displayed for customers who have created an account.

To order goods, you must add the desired products to the shopping cart. Product data is provided with images and descriptions next to the product and is for informational purposes only.

The price of the product is displayed next to the product in EUR (€).

To place an order, you must fill in the required fields and select the appropriate product delivery method.

The shopping cart displays the price of your order, which can be paid using the online store’s payment solutions.

Discount coupons can also be entered on the shopping cart page.

The sales contract comes into effect from the moment the amount due is received in the online store’s bank account.

If the ordered goods cannot be delivered due to the end of the goods or for any other reason, the buyer will be notified as soon as possible and the money paid will be refunded immediately, but no later than within 30 days.

Delivery of the goods

If not stated otherwise, the goods will be shipped from the Republic of Estonia.

The shipping costs are displayed in the check out.

Shipments within Estonia arrive in 3-7 days, orders outside Estonia may take longer, depending on the customer’s location. The customer will be notified of exceptional cases immediately.

When ordering goods via a parcel machine, the customer undertakes to take out the goods within 7 days (or however long the shipping company stores the package in the parcel locker) of their arrival at the parcel machine. Otherwise, the customer has to pay for the new delivery and reimburse the seller for the shipping costs of the returned order.

For delivery by courier, the customer is obliged to provide correct information. If the package cannot be delivered the first time, then if a new delivery is requested, the courier must pay for the return and new delivery.

Age verification

Please note that the sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited to persons under the legal age. The exact age at which alcohol can be purchased depends on the specific country. Therefore, upon delivery of the goods to the Consumer, his/her age will be verified:

• When receiving goods from a SmartPosti parcel terminal, SmartPosti requires the recipient’s age to be verified using an ID card.

• When receiving goods by courier, the courier verifies the Consumer’s age.

Right of withdrawal

The buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract concluded in the online store within 14 days from the date of receipt of the order, unless the product is perishable or has a short shelf life.

The right of withdrawal does not apply if the buyer is a legal entity.

To exercise the 14-day right of return, the goods must be in their original packaging and unused.

To return the goods, please write us an e-mail with the order information to contact@champagnehunters.com.

The returned goods must be sent no later than 14 days after the purchase.

If the goods have been used for a purpose other than what is necessary to verify the nature, properties and functioning of the goods or if they show signs of use or wear, the Online Store has the right to refuse the return or reduce the return fee according to the decrease in the value of the goods.

The buyer bears the costs of returning the goods.

The shipping cost will be compensated to the customer if it turns out that the goods were defective or the wrong goods were delivered.

The online store will deal with the submitted complaint within 30 days from the date of receipt of the non-returnable goods.

Right to file a claim

If a defect in the goods appears, the customer has the right to contact the online store no later than 14 days after making the purchase.

The online store will respond to the customer’s complaint in writing within 14 working days.

If the goods purchased from the online store have defects for which the online store is responsible, the online store will repair or replace the defective goods.

If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, the online store will refund all fees associated with the sale to the buyer.

The online store is not responsible for defects that have arisen after the goods have been delivered to the buyer.

Direct marketing and processing of personal data

The online store uses the personal data entered by the buyer (including name, phone number, address, e-mail address) only for processing the order and sending the goods to the buyer.

The online store transfers personal data to companies providing transport services in order to deliver the goods.

The online store sends newsletters to all registered users to their e-mail addresses no more than 2 times a month. You can always unsubscribe from newsletters by following the instructions in the sent letter or by writing to us at contact@champagnehunters.com.

Dispute resolution

If the buyer has any complaints regarding the Online Store, please send an e-mail to contact@champagnehunters.com.

The Online Store will respond to the customer’s complaints within 14 working days.

If the buyer and the Online Store cannot resolve the dispute by agreement, the buyer may contact the Consumer Disputes Commission.

The Consumer Disputes Commission is competent to resolve disputes arising from the contract concluded between the buyer and the Online Store.
